The College has DNA Fingerprinting Laboratory approved by Govt. of Maharashtra. The DNA Fingerprinting services are provided to the public and private sectors for the DNA fingerprinting of agriculturally important crop plants under DNA Fingerprinting Project.
The Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani has DNA Fingerprinting Facility available at Vilasrao Deshmukh College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Latur. The DNA Fingerprinting Laboratory has been approved by Govt. of Maharashtra. The DNA Fingerprinting services are provided to the public and private sectors for the DNA fingerprinting of agriculturally important crop plants under DNA Fingerprinting Project. The laboratory has analyzed more than 500 samples of agriculturally important crop plants submitted by various public and private sectors till date.
